It is estimated that between Asian and Latino residents, approximately 81,000 individuals could become citizens by 2020. We work to engage civically ALL Latino residents and provide assistance to those that qualify for naturalization

DACA was the first step in securing the future of young Latinos. In addition to allowing them to access higher education financing and better positioning them for US Citizenship, it allowed youth to better contribute to society by accessing improved employment and business opportunities. In Georgia, over 28,000 were eligible for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Program in 2015.

While we wait for Congress to decide on the future of these young individuals that arrived in the U.S. before their sixteenth birthday and have no criminal record, we are focusing on supporting non-partisan civic engagement for Latinx residents in Georgia and providing financial assistance to those qualifying green card holders ready to Naturalize through our member organizations.

Our civic engagement fund and non-partisan work are supported by our Giving Circle members and grants.
