There are at least 26 dead in Central America after Hurricane Iota hit the countries of Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
The rainfall created mudslides, life-threatening flash flooding and river flooding. These countries had recently been hit by Hurricane Eta just a few days before. Close to 200,000 people have lost their homes and over 50,000 have no water.
We are working with local nonprofit organizations to provide critical funding to purchase water filters, medicine and critical supplies for these countries. All funds raised will support disaster relief primarily in Guatemala and Honduras because of the consular relationships and community organizations existing in Georgia.
All contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Thank you for your generous and life-saving investment. It takes all of us to help our brothers and sisters in Central America.
