12 of the Top Latin American Chefs join Ser Familia’s “Celebrating Our Heritage” Annual Fundraising and Tasting Event

Atlanta, Georgia (21 June, 2017) – Ser Familia, a leading nonprofit offering educational and leadership programs to strengthen, revitalize, and equip Latino youth, couples, and families in Georgia, is proud to announce that four new chefs are joining its annual fundraising event “Celebrating Our Heritage,” providing unique Latin American cuisine tasting.

“This year, we have a record of 12 chefs supporting Ser Familia and sharing their delicious creations with attendees and organization sponsors.  We are grateful for the overwhelming support of the hospitality and culinary community and are excited to see and taste their selections!” said Belisa Urbina, Executive Director and Co-Founder of the organization.

In addition to tasting tables, “Celebrating Our Heritage” features Red Hare Beer, Coca-Cola products, Spanish wine and J.R. Revelry Bourbon to pair the culinary offerings

Brazilian singer Sonya and DJ Mauricio Velez will perform throughout the evening and a silent auction featuring chef tables and Latin American art round up a distinctive Latin American experience.

“Celebrating Our Heritage” is scheduled on September 8th at Spring Hall (7130 Buford Highway NE).  Cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and auction begin at 7:00pm.
